The first edition of the International ice & fire art festival Isflamma took place at the beautiful Grythyttan badplats, between the 5th and the 21st of February 2010.

An impressive sculpture park was built with about 50 ice sculptures, an ice chapel and an ice restaurant.
On the 20th of February a couple from Grythyttan got married in the ice chapel, an unforgettable fairy tale in a snowstorm!
The famous Måltidens Hus served a delicious "Bergslagens Paëlla" in the ice restaurant with a magnificant view over the froozen lake.

Isflamma 2010 had participants from Sweden, Norway, Latvia, Germany, Holland, England, Belgium, Italy, Lebanon, USA and Japan.

Thanks to all artists, volunteers and partners we can look back upon an inspiring and succesful art festival with high quality and with high potential for the future.

ISFLAMMA 2011

The second edition of the International ice & fire art festival Isflamma will take place between tht 14th and the 27th of February 2011.
